It's been two years since the last time we held such an event, because the world changed in 2020 without mentioning too much about the Covid-19 pandemic and all the variants.
After the turmoil and uncertainty over the past 21 months, we wanted to create a welcome get together this festive season for people to socialise and make their own Christmas wreath. The chosen venue for this year is The Kingston Estate, near Staverton.
With kind permission from Jamie and Sarah and above and beyond help from Jodie and her team we pulled out all the stops to make guests feel welcome with delicious mince pies and sausage roll provided by Tracy, who also joined the workshop group and lashings of Prosecco and other beverages to keep us all happy and content.
The "pop-up" Workshop was held in the Barn, which is usually home to fabulous celebratory events for weddings and birthday parties.
